Three hotels, three perspectives on West Hollywood

West Hollywood may be just under two square miles, but few neighbourhoods have had a greater influence on the story of Los Angeles.

Along the Sunset Strip and beyond, hotels have long been at the centre of it all, hosting everyone from musicians and actors to creatives, locals and travellers discovering the city for the first time.

Today, that legacy continues. Some of the neighbourhood's best-known addresses have been thoughtfully reimagined, while newer arrivals are bringing a fresh perspective to West Hollywood's hospitality scene.

For Connections Luxury Americas West 2026, three hotels will play an important role in the programme. Each offers a different way to experience the destination, whether through music, design or wellness, and together they reflect the character that makes West Hollywood one of LA's most distinctive neighbourhoods.

The Sun Rose Hotel

Where music still writes the story.

Music has always been part of the Sunset Strip's identity, and few places capture that better than The Sun Rose Hotel.

At the heart of the property is Live at The Sun Rose, an intimate performance venue that has welcomed artists including John Legend, Beck, Dave Grohl and Stevie Wonder. With just 100 seats, it's a very different experience to LA's larger concert halls and has quickly become one of the city's most sought-after venues.

The Sun Rose will also welcome attendees for the Opening Reception of Connections Luxury Americas West, making it the first setting where conversations begin and new relationships are formed.

While you're here: Arrive a little early for sunset on the rooftop, then see what's on at the hotel's live music venue during your stay. Find out more.

PUBLIC West Hollywood

The address everyone is talking about.

Some hotels arrive with history already built in.

PUBLIC West Hollywood occupies the former Standard Hotel, one of the Sunset Strip's most recognisable addresses. Reimagined by hotelier Ian Schrager, it brings a new design-led approach while retaining the social energy that made the location so well known.

The hotel also provides the backdrop for our Closing Celebration, offering one final opportunity for attendees to reconnect before heading home.

While you're here: Spend some time exploring the hotel's public spaces. Designed by John Pawson, every corner reflects Ian Schrager's signature approach to understated luxury. Find out more.

1 Hotel West Hollywood

A different side of Los Angeles.

Just a few minutes from Sunset Boulevard, 1 Hotel West Hollywood feels worlds away.

Natural materials, living greenery and sweeping views across Los Angeles create a sense of calm that's become synonymous with the 1 Hotels brand. It's an ideal base for exploring West Hollywood on foot, whether that's browsing Melrose boutiques, discovering independent cafés or simply taking in the neighbourhood between meetings.

Many Connections Luxury Americas West attendees will also call 1 Hotel West Hollywood home during the event, making it more than just accommodation. It's where the day begins over breakfast, where conversations continue after meetings and where guests can unwind before another day of connecting.

While you're here: Slow the pace for an hour or so at the Bamford Wellness Spa, a welcome contrast to the energy of the Sunset Strip just moments away. Find out more.

At Connections, we believe the best business relationships are built through shared experiences as much as scheduled meetings. Our host hotels are part of that philosophy, creating the spaces where conversations continue long after the day's appointments have ended.

Join us in West Hollywood this 8-11 November. Limited places remain for qualified US luxury travel buyers and international suppliers.
